It’s No Fun Waltzing Alone is a Bachelor of Fine Arts thesis film shot in the spring of 2025. I was brought on as a producer by the director after working together on several sets the previous semester. This film is one I’m extremely proud of. I’m grateful for the support from everyone on the project, and it became the first time I truly understood how much the producer sets the tone for the entire filmmaking process.

I learned a lot about myself - how I work under pressure, how I lead, and the challenges I face when stepping into a head-of-department role. Even though the pre-production process wasn’t as smooth as it could have been, I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. I grew significantly as both a filmmaker and a person through this project.
